Dr. Tan Ran Zhi is the Deputy Director of Sungai Buloh Hospital's Department of Forensic Medicine.

With over 10 years of experience in forensic science, Dr. Tan has autopsied more than 1,000 bodies, providing valuable evidence for justice. He has assisted the police in numerous crime scene investigations and testified in court as a professional witness. Dr. Tan has also been invited to speak on the topic of forensic science on radio stations, given interviews in media, written about it in blogs and columns, and even organised forensic science courses. He aims to educate the public about the complexity and importance of forensic science and to dispel the misconceptions about autopsy via multiple platforms. Dr. Tan hopes to raise society's awareness about the field of forensic science and encourage more participation and support in this field to ensure justice and enforcement of the law.
