Azzaha Ibrahim
Azzaha Ibrahim,
Azzaha Ibrahim is a multidisciplinary artist based in Kelantan who works with different media including photography, video and installation.
Trained as an architect in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), he is also an independent researcher focusing on Nusantara art and cultural heritage. Despite being in the prime of life, Azzaha chose to stay in his hometown to take care of his ailing father. The unique culture and art of Kelantan, especially the architecture of Langkasuka fascinate him. Believed to be founded over 2,000 years ago, Langkasuka was once a formidable matriarchal kingdom. As the guardian of history, Azzaha has conducted in-depth research on ancient civilizations since 1998, capturing the essence of ancient wisdom through artworks, interviews, field investigations, 3D drawings, etc., leaving a meaningful and lasting legacy for future generations.
